Resist the false solutions of the COP15 climate talks! Join us in Copenhagen Dec 7th to Dec 18th.
Food will be available throughout the Summit from activist kitchens on six main locations in Copenhagen:
Ragnhilgade, Teglholmen, Folkets Hus (Griffenfeldsgade), Christiania/Nemoland and Climate Forum (Onkel
Danny’s Plads). -> COP 15 locations on Google Maps.
Several people’s kitchens stemming from countries all over Europe are organized, each of them with their own cooking style and meals, so it’s advisable to try them all!
Food will be served for donations, and all of the kitchens are of course looking for a volontary hand. The food will mainly be vegan and biological from small scale growers to support their work.
» Anarchist Teapot (Brighton, UK):
We are an anarchist collective that cooks at events we want to support. We are predominantly based in Brighton but have cooked at events all over the country. We cook affordable, vegan, GM-free and mostly organic food.
» Automat (Stockholm, Sweden):
Automat is an anarchist people’s kitchen cooking for political events all over Europe and Sweden. We cook for donations in a non-commercial purpose. All our food is organic and vegan. Since 2009 Automat also grows their own vegetables.
» Fahrende Gereuchte Kueche (Germany):
The fahrende geruechte kueche-zk (travelling kitchen of rumours) is a growing and always changing group of people in and around Berlin and the Flaemingregion who like to cook good vegetarian (or vegan) food for actions, camps, manifestations or what ever. We normally give out our food for donations and use mostly ecological or regional grown vegetable and fair traded products.
» Food For Action (Berlin, Germany):
FFA cooks on political events to strengthen struggles for a better world and to integrate alternatives to the dominating policies. Therefore we use (undogmatic and down-to-earth like) organic produced ingredients for our vegan Food For Action.
» Le Sabot (Germany):
Le Sabot is a mobile D.I.Y. kitchen cooking organic and vegan. Le Sabot is cooking for political and not for commercial reasons; if there is a surplus, the money goes back to political projects and actions we want to support.
» Mykorrhiza (Sweden):
We are an open network working towards a sustainable foodproduction. In Copenhagen we will be contributing with a wood fired soup kitchen using organic vegetables, which we have grown ourselves. We offer good food, info on seed rights and ideas for changing society by growing vegetables.
» Rampenplan (Utrecht, Netherlands):
Kollektief Rampenplan is a non profit mobile kitchen that started in the early eighties during the big anti-nuclear campaigns to support activists with organic, ecological and veggie food. We are part of the movement and hope you’ll be part of the kitchen too. Happy to be here and to join you elsewhere!
The kitchen’s are asking for donations to cover their cost! If you feel you want to make a contribution, use our mutual bank account. All eventual surplus will go to the legal team.
